The 17th Annual Blacks' Gala at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach Raised Over $750,000.00
The Blacks' Annual Gala - hosted by Lea & Roy Black - one of Miami's most prestigious, star-studded charity events was back for its 17th straight year on Saturday night (April 2nd) at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. The gala benefits at-risk kids through a dynamic public / private alliance with the Miami-Dade County Juvenile Services Department. Celebrity notables included Hosts Roy & Lea Black, Adriana De Moura, Alexia Echeverria & Marysol Patton (Bravo's Real Housewives of Miami), Adam Gaynor (Matchbox 20), Gabrielle Anwar (Actress, "Burn Notice"), Gabrielle Anwar (Actress, "Burn Notice"), Helio Castroneves (Three Time Indy 500 Champion & Winner of Season 5 of Dancing with the Star), Jeffrey Donovan (Actor, "Burn Notice"), Joe Francis (Entrepreneur, founder of Mantra Film and Designers) and Designers Lisa & Donald Pliner. Business icons and philanthropists spearheaded the fundraising including heavyweights Arthur Benjamin, Jonathan Babicka, Jim Ferraro, Robert Hoff and Patrick Bogosse. Miami notables included Ingrid Casares, Belkys Nerey, Frank Amadeo & Jason Binn, among many others. The evening began with red carpet arrivals followed by a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, both silent & live auctions and a superstar concert with performances by Dionne Warwick (Grammy Award Winning Artist and Actress), Pharrell Williams (Grammy Award Winning Rapper, Singer, Record Producer & Fashion Designer) and Miami's own Pitbull (International Artist, Singer, Songwriter & Producer).

Mia at Biscayne Restaurant hosted 25 business leaders for The Blacks' Annual Gala quarterly Corporate Donor Luncheon. Lea and Roy Black, Founders welcomed a divers set of top corporations to learn more about charity and what we're doing for at-risk youth. Bravo was there filming for their show Real Housewives of Miami.

I Have a Dream Foundation Eco-Sustainable Garden Field Trip
Over 100 children visited the home of Lea and Roy Black to learn about eco-sustainable farming and gardening. The kids were given their own biodegradable pots to decorate, seeds and organic dirt to learn about the importance of health, nutrition and ecology. Hosted by Stephanie Trump and Lea Black, May 2010.
